Faine has made Aro so freaked out. He quizzes everybody as well as touching him or her. Marcus and Caius keep asking him what’s wrong. They’ve been speaking amongst themselves and fear he’s losing his mind and he shouldn’t be allowed to make any more decisions. He grabbed Marcus’ hand yesterday and didn’t even comment on his thoughts. He’d done it out of fear because Didyme was walking around beside him and was talking in his head. She’s begun to taunt him now, telling him that Marcus and Caius know and they are plotting his death, saying he deserves it. Marcus had no thoughts in his mind, but Aro thinks he’s blocking them from him. Didyme appeared to Marcus today and was caressing his face and whispering to him that she still loves him and she will join him soon. He agreed to join her and has asked Aro to kill him so he can be with his beloved Didyme. Aro went nuts and said no way would he kill his brother. Didyme said in his head, ‘yet you managed to kill your sister’. Aro ran out of the Great Room screaming. Marcus is all confused. Then she appeared to Caius and said that Aro was the one who sent the werewolves after him. Caius is more suspicious and sneaky and grabbed Didyme’s arm expecting to feel an arm but instead Faine used Katy’s power and made him see werewolves sneaking up from every part of the room he was in, they were chanting ‘revenge, revenge, he had us all nearly killed, it’s payback time.’ Caius was reduced to a babbling mess tuckered into a ball in the corner of his room. Crying out in fear whenever anyone asks him anything. Who’d have thought that one girl could bring the Volturi Masters to their knees.
Jane is getting very friendly with Gabriel but he’s on our side and her ‘poor ‘Tristan is seething with jealousy. I always thought he was too good for her, but his loss, he picked her over me. However, if he didn’t I’d not have been free to meet Faine. The guards are relaxing for the first time is centuries because of the master’s lack of commands. Aro sits on his throne rocking back and forth and mumbling to himself unintelligently and Jane is following Gabriel around. Mind you, Gabriel, Faine, and I went out hunting together lately mostly so Faine could figure out if he’s truly on our side or against us. She has an excellent instinct on these things and she has told us that he just wants no harm done to the masters and to be able to go free himself. He knows Aro must die in order for us all to be free, but he’s delighted to be able to change into Amelia and save Jane’s body if not her mind which he quite enjoys. He has already seen Tristan’s drawings of Amelia and will be able to change into her when given the signal. The plan is set for 3 days time if things haven’t come to a head by then. We will do it on that day. Aro has sent the wives away to Austria on an extended vacation as he thinks, but in fact, they are all dead, we had them killed and burned, except for one wife, which we have kept prisoner nearby in a prison that she cannot escape. It’s been decided that Marcus is the only master that will be saved and the mind of Didyme will be transferred into the mind of the remaining wife. Chelsea will weave her magic and they will both believe that she is Didyme. Well that is the plan anyway. Who knows how it will turn out?
