Dear diary,
I am so glad Spring is finally here. Nothing makes me happier than
spending a whole day splashing through puddles in my rain boots that
Jake got me. They are purple with polka dots all over them. Mommy and
daddy got me a rain coat to go with it. I get to ride my bike more too
and Jake has promised to teach me how to roller skate. Mommy likes to
take me to the park on days where it is cloudy, that way we get some
"girl time" just the two of us. She wants to take me to the mall soon
so we get some more time together. I think she might be wanting to
keep me away from Jake a little. He spends so much time with me since
he can go out in the sun and they can't. In school, Miss Angela is
working with us on a "Spring Concert" where we perform all the songs
we have learned this year. Most of these were common sense songs like
how to spell colors and little nursery rhymes. But my real concert is
gonna be when I sing them at home in French, which Aunt Alice taught
me to do. It has been hard, but we have hid it from everyone else in
the house, even daddy. Also, Easter is right around the corner. Jake
says he is gonna get my picture taken with the Easter bunny. My first
Easter ever and from the looks of it, it is just as big as Christmas!
There are baskets that are already packed and some that you make
yourself. I, personally, want mommy and daddy to make one for me cuz
that seems more special. I mean, where's the individuality in gettng
one that there are 20 more like it in the store? It seems insane to
me. I am thinking of making an Easter basket for Jake. I could put
lots of candy and a stuffed wolf in it. I think he would absolutely
love it! I am going to get started right now. Write more soon.
