Dear diary,
Life is pretty boring right now. While Shay is enjoying sleeping
all day and not going to school, I am going stir crazy just wanting to
get out of the house. I sit at the window, watching the snow, hoping
it will all stop soon. According to the news, it is snowing all over
the country, so at least we are not alone. Daddy told me I would never
make it in Alaska if this got to me, but it isn't the snow that drives
me nuts, it's the no school. I wouldn't care if it was snow as deep as
I am tall, I just want to go to school! The only time I get to leave
is when we go to hunt once a week. I am tempted to ask Jake to take me
outside and play, but mommy thinks I will catch a cold. What is the
fun of being half-vampire if I still can get sick?! I think she is
just being overprotective, but I am not a parent, so I don't know what
is going through her head. Jake is staying with us so I have someone
to play with, but all the toys are getting boring. I wanna go
OUTSIDE!!! I am starting to take ballet from aunt Alice just so I have
something to do. I am ready to bundle up and run around outside just
to get out some of my energy. FInally, Jake says he talked mommy into
letting me leave the house and play outside. We had a snowball fight
and built a snowman and just ran around a lot, getting out a ton of
energy. Jake showed me how to make a snow angel and taught me how to
ice skate. Then we went back inside and took a nap. Now we are
watching T.V. I am starting to think maybe the snow is ok. I am gonna
go now. Write more soon.
